Manly Main Beach hosted Australia's first surf contest in 1964, and this teams event brings the format back to the same sand for two days. Eighteen teams from New South Wales and Queensland compete across Men's Open, Women's and Under 18 Junior divisions, spearheaded by world champion Joel Parkinson, with a Legends Heat putting a few familiar names back in the water.

Free to watch from the beach, with live music, the Jeremyville art trail and DEFENDER Live Art running across the wharf at the same time. Saturday runs 6:30am to 5pm, Sunday 6:30am to 3pm, finishing with the presentations.
