An easy, step-free 3km loop around Curl Curl Lagoon, good for strollers, bikes and family wanders.
Easy, shady and family-friendly. The Curl Curl Lagoon walk is a 3km loop from Harbord Road to Carrington Parade via John Fisher Park, on a well-formed track with no steps.
The lagoon has come a long way. Once a lush wetland, it was used for landfill in the 1950s before extensive rehabilitation turned it into the green space it is today.
Council grades it Easy and allows 45 minutes. Bring the stroller, the bike or the dog. Sections near the main carpark are wheelchair accessible. Birdlife is busy here, especially in breeding season, so keep dogs close.
