A rugged 1.6km headland track linking North Curl Curl and Dee Why, with views from Manly to Long Reef.
Short, sharp and scenic. The Dee Why Headland Walk crosses rugged sandstone between North Curl Curl Beach and Dee Why Beach, with views south to Manly and north past Long Reef.
The headland is a sensitive coastal ecosystem and an important wildlife corridor between Curl Curl and Dee Why lagoons, so stay on the track.
It is 1.6km one way and takes about 45 minutes, graded Medium, with short steep hills, some obstacles and many steps. Start at either beach and reward yourself with a swim at the other end. Best in the cool of the morning.
