Dunbar Park's playground sits in the middle of Avalon village and caters for little kids and bigger ones alike. Two play towers offer different climbing challenges, with a slide, a nature trail play area and an inclusive swing with a high-backed seat.
Timber, rope and sandstone give it a natural feel, and carvings are dotted throughout for kids to discover. Parents get plenty of seating.
An accessible pathway links the Bowling Green Lane carpark to the playground, so prams, wheelchairs and walkers have an easy run in. It's handy for a play before or after coffee and errands in the village.
