Freshwater Rockpool sits at the northern end of Freshwater Beach, a 50 metre ocean pool built for proper laps. Freshie is part of the Manly-Freshwater National and World Surfing Reserve, so the surf is right there beside you.
The beach is a family favourite, with two playgrounds nearby, one of them accessible, and free parking for Council permit holders. Lifeguards can lend you a beach wheelchair.
Go early for clear lanes and calm water, then make a morning of it on the sand.
