Manly Dam Playground

Manly Dam's all-inclusive playground opened in 2020 in Section 1, the park's family picnic area. Expect a climbing frame, a tunnel and bridge, swings and a carousel, built from wood and stone to sit comfortably in the bushland.

Section 1 has a big grassy area, electric BBQs and swimming access to the lake, so it's easy to make a full day of it. Picnic tables can be booked online, with others left free for casual use.

Go early on summer weekends, when the picnic areas fill fast. Bring the bikes or walking shoes: the mountain bike trail and bush walks start nearby.
