Desert Colours 2025 | 12 – 23 November 2025

Honey Ant Gallery has been sharing the beauty of Aboriginal art with the Northern Beaches for more than 20 years. This spring, they’re proud to present Desert Colours 2025, a breathtaking exhibition of works straight from the heart of Australia’s desert.

Step into a collection alive with the glow of sunrise and sunset, rolling sandhills, shifting seasons, and the vibrant flora and fauna that have inspired Indigenous artists for generations.

The exhibition showcases both celebrated masters and exciting new voices from remote community art centres. Names like Walangkura Napanangka, Kudditji Kngwarreye, Minnie Pwerle, Nancy Nungurrayi, Charmaine Pwerle and Gloria Petyarre sit alongside emerging talent, each work telling its own story.

Through their paintings, ancient narratives unfold, creation stories handed down for centuries, told from above with sweeping aerial perspectives that reveal the deep connection between land, people, and spirit.

Come and experience Desert Colours 2025 at Honey Ant Gallery, and immerse yourself in a celebration of culture, colour, and country.
