Felons Barrel Room Has Launched

Following a huge opening weekend that saw Winston Surfshirt and Mental As Anything play to packed crowds, Felons Barrel Room is now officially open at Manly Wharf, bringing a new cultural and culinary hub to the Northern Beaches.

The venue has launched with Saigon Supper Inn, led by chef Bao La, serving fresh, vibrant Vietnamese food that champions high-quality Australian produce. The all-day menu available from 11am features standout dishes including grilled Pacific oysters with spring onion relish and fried shallots, fried chicken wings with fish sauce caramel, Vietnamese cabbage salad with grilled beef or chicken, beer clams cooked in Felons beer with lemongrass and kaffir lime, and street-food favourites such as crispy chả giò, bánh mì and bò né sizzling beef with fried egg. To celebrate the opening, Felons Barrel Room has launched a full weekly program:

Wednesday – Trivia
Trivia every Wednesday with a weekly cash jackpot plus prizes. Registration opens from 7pm, trivia begins at 7:30pm. Team registration ranges from $15 to $50 depending on size. Saigon Supper Inn offers a $25 meal and pint special featuring dishes from the Fresh & Crunchy or From the Wok menus.

Thursday – Jazz Club
From 7pm each Thursday, guests can settle in for a rotating lineup of live jazz. Entry is free and the $25 meal and pint offer is available.

Friday and Saturday – Live Music
A weekly program of live music each Friday and Saturday evening with a focus on local and emerging talent. Earlier in the day, guests can enjoy the $25 meal and pint special from Saigon Supper Inn.

Sunday – Family Fun Day
Every Sunday from 11am-3pm, families can enjoy kids eating half price, free face painting and games.

Sunday – Live Music + Happy Hour
From 4pm, the Barrel Room hosts live music with happy hour from 5-7pm featuring $9 Felons beer, house spirits and wine. Kids eat half price.

Now fully open, Felons Barrel Room features a 700-capacity space with a purpose-built stage, world-class sound and lighting, and more than 140 French oak barrels lining the walls as part of Felons’ onsite barrel-aging program. Saigon Supper Inn is available all day, making the venue as much a dining destination as it is a home for live music, cultural programming and community gatherings.
