Stationary bikes on the sand. A 100km target. Boardrooms swapped for the beachfront.
Royal Far West’s Spin Off Challenge returns to Manly Beach on Thursday 12 November, and this time the whole community is invited to cheer on the riders. Last year’s inaugural event raised $100,000 for children in rural and remote Australia. This year, the peloton is back to go further.

Gearing Up for Round Two
From 10am to 2pm, corporate teams will take turns on the bikes along the Manly beachfront, chasing a combined 100km target. Sponsor teams from ANZ, Healius, imei, Roxy Pacific, WOTSO, Allan Hall, PSC and Sydney Business Park will be pedalling alongside local schoolchildren, special guests and Royal Far West staff.
Expect friendly rivalry, fundraising activities and beachfront entertainment, plus the Spin to Win promotion with prizes up for grabs.
Why Every Kilometre Counts
For children growing up in the bush, distance is often the biggest barrier to care.
“Children growing up in rural and remote Australia often face significant barriers to accessing specialist health and developmental services, simply because of where they live,” says Royal Far West CEO Dr Briony Scott.
“We’re incredibly grateful to the businesses and community members getting behind this year’s challenge. Their generosity helps us continue delivering specialist care to country children, both here in Manly and in rural and remote communities across Australia.”
In FY26, the Manly-based charity supported more than 30,000 Australian children, parents, carers, educators and health professionals across 243 rural and remote communities. Funds raised on the day will help Royal Far West extend its developmental and mental health services to more families.
Local Business, Doubling Down
Frenchs Forest communications company imei loved last year so much it’s entering two teams in 2026.
“imei was privileged to be part of the inaugural Spin Off Challenge in 2025; it was a fantastic day filled with fun, friendly rivalry between the teams, and such a great experience that we have committed to entering two teams in 2026,” says Founder and CEO Tim Fussell.
Come Down and Cheer
Head to the beachfront, make a donation and give the riders a lift when the legs start to burn. Can’t make it on the day? You can still chip in online via the Spin Off fundraising page.
