Team Beaches COVERED. had the pleasure of experiencing a recent little cheeky staycation in Manly Pacific. Technically, we are only a stone’s throw from Manly based in Brookvale, but stepping into our Villa Suite and stretching out on that swanky rooftop pool deck felt like we’d landed in a little piece of holiday paradise.
The truth is, Manly rocks. It’s a dream holiday location and the perfect place to kick back even if it is just down the road.
Mornings start with a beautiful sunrise peeking through your curtains, a nice beach run or early swim, pool side or straight into the ocean. There’s also a cosy infrared sauna, undoubtedly the best buffet brekkie in Manly or a familiar walk to Shelly Beach that somehow feels a bit different when you’re officially “on holiday.”
After your busy day shopping at The Corso, or doing nothing at all you can hear the clinking glasses of creative cocktails in 55 North, listen to live music, and then dine on an Italian feast at Cibaria.
That’s the magic of a staycation; no airports, no travel time, and no packing stress. It’s just that instant holiday switch the moment you walk through the door. It’s a little bubble of calm, luxury, and relaxing headspace.
Coastal Villas: Next Level Luxury
Staycation presents the opportunity for a dial up on luxury with a possible room upgrade of your choice. The Coastal Villas interiors are styled by Coco Republic with a blend of light oak, soft textures, and muted tones to create a mood that’s coastal, refined, and instantly relaxing.
Each villa features two spacious bedrooms, separate living and dining areas, two luxe bathrooms, and your own private balcony with sweeping ocean views.
If you are looking for the ultimate experience, The Infinity Residence is the pinnacle; 177 sqm of sophisticated living with a massive 100 sqm terrace made for sunset drinks and long, lazy afternoons.
Italian Dining at its Best
Cibaria is an Italian masterpiece restaurant. From impromptu espresso in the caffetteria to wood-fired pizzette and special-occasion dining, it is a truly diverse space. The hotel’s signature dining space channels the buzz and beauty of a beachside piazza created by Alessandro and Anna Pavoni of The Spit’s restaurants, Chiosco and Ormeggio. It brings the heart of Italy to The Beaches.
The open kitchen is a hive of creative cooking. You can see hanging prime cuts curing behind bursts of fire as juicy steaks flame-grill, pasta being hand-rolled and charcuterie meats being sliced to order. Everything that comes out of their theatre of food tastes authentic, nurtured and seriously delicious.
Finish things off with a creamy gelato and something sparkling at 55 North, and let the flavours of Italy mingle with the Manly sea breeze. We did, and we loved it!
Why it Feels So Good
This isn’t just a hotel stay. It’s an escape with soul. From the morning coffee on your sun-drenched balcony to Cibaria’s buzzy charm and the quiet luxury of the Villas themselves. It’s all familiar, but elevated. A little more special. A little more relaxed. And exactly what a great staycation should be.
